Here are just a few audience comments posted
on social media after the premiere of Throng.
Parking = $5...Drinks = $20...Watching a premiere of Throng the short I am in = Priceless...IMDb Credit = Bonus :)
The absolutely awful thing about THRONG is that I can blab about how awesome it turned out but I can't tell the folks who weren't there at the showing tonight how they can see it anytime soon. Unless... Chris Wilson, Zacharia Persson and gang have some Secret Plans up their wicked sleeves.
Between filming with some of the best friends a guy could ever ask for this past weekend, and seeing some great filmmakers put on a wonderful film tonight, my faith in this industry has been restored. I'm ready for more.
Just saw the premiere to the ambitious short film Throng. Absolutely hilarious! I understand there are a plethora of outtakes for this opus. Looking forward to some more candy. Bravo to the We'll Fix It In Post wacky production team!
THRONG! :D Glad to see Wilson, Persson, and the gang have created quite the meta-masterpiece! Happy to have been a small part of it and highly recommend to everyone!
Just got back from seeing THRONG WORLD PREMIERE - (over 21) at Kelly's Olympian. Ridiculously awesome and funny. The word meta doesn't even begin to describe this. Chris Wilson, Zacharia Persson, and Hollie Olson just plain killed it.
THRONG was actually much more meta than I thought it would be, and brings up questions about the responsibility of filmmakers and whether punking actors is a healthy exercise for those involved and not just narcissistic porn that takes advantage of the trust of our greatest assets as filmmakers (the actors themselves). Judging from the final result & the attendance of most of the punked actors in tonight's audience, I think the answer is a resounding Yes. I think. It brings up the question of how many actors were actually 100% punked and how many we're just playing along... I suppose I'll never know.
The "Throng" premiere was excellent! Good job, guys. — with Hollie Olson and 3 others.
